We are so excited to be hosting a campout for the youth on
August 28th - 29th,
2026! The weekend will be run by Matt Youngclouds,
Youth Coordinator and Caleb Krawczuk,
Youth Associate Leader.
The cost is $10 per camper.
The Location is at the campground of Sharla Pomeranz (youth leader):

Campout Details
- Dates: Friday, August 28th – Saturday, August 29th
- Church Carpool Departure: Meet at the church at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 28th
- Campsite Drop-off: 12:00 PM on Friday, August 28th (at Eagles Rest campsite)
- Campsite Pick-up: 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 29th (at Eagles Rest campsite)
- Church Carpool Pick-up: Meet at the church at 12:30 PM on Saturday, August 29th
- Meals: Dinner (Friday) and Breakfast (Saturday) and snacks are provided!

PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE
I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian, give permission for my child to participate in the Community Youth Overnight Camping Night, organized by Spruce Grove Community Church and taking place at Eagles Rest RV Park from August 28–29, 2026.
I understand that this is an overnight youth event that may include camping, outdoor activities, walking, recreational activities, games, and other activities associated with an overnight camping experience.
I understand that participation in outdoor and recreational activities involves some inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, insect bites, weather-related conditions, minor injuries, and other risks associated with outdoor activities.
I give my child permission to participate in the event and understand that my child is expected to follow all reasonable instructions, safety rules, and directions provided by the event leaders and supervisors.
MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION
In the event of an emergency, I authorize the responsible adult leaders of Spruce Grove Community Church’s Community Youth to seek appropriate medical attention for my child if I cannot be reached in a timely manner.
I understand that every reasonable effort will be made to contact me or the emergency contact listed below before medical treatment is obtained whenever circumstances reasonably permit.
RELEASE AND WAIVER
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I acknowledge and accept the ordinary risks associated with my child’s participation in the Community Youth Overnight Camping Night.
I understand that Spruce Grove Community Church, its Community Youth ministry, and the event leaders and volunteers, including Matt Youngclouds, Youth Coordinator, and Caleb Krawczuk, Youth Associate Leader, will take reasonable steps to provide a safe environment for participants.
I understand that no outdoor or recreational activity can be entirely free from risk. I agree that my child will follow reasonable instructions, safety rules, and directions given by the event leaders and supervisors.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Spruce Grove Community Church, its Community Youth ministry, its leaders, volunteers, and event supervisors from claims arising from ordinary risks associated with my child’s participation in the event, except to the extent caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
PARENT/GUARDIAN AGREEMENT
By signing below, I confirm that:
- I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant named above.
- I have read and understood this form.
- The information I have provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge.
- I give permission for my child to participate in the Community Youth Overnight Camping Night at Eagles Rest RV Park from August 28–29, 2026.
- I understand the nature of the event and the ordinary risks associated with outdoor and overnight activities.
- I understand that the event is organized by Spruce Grove Community Church’s Community Youth ministry.
- I agree that my child is expected to follow the rules and instructions of the event leaders and supervisors.
